I live in the highlands of Ecuador, where GUINEA PIGS (called “cuy”) are ROASTED AND EATEN FOR DINNER! But not these two. They live in my garden.
I’m Franny. I was born in Kansas, grew up in Michigan, was educated in California, and lived in Detroit, Michigan and in Beacon, New York. I have traveled all over the world. I ended up in Cuenca Ecuador, where I am a book editor and writing instructor, a volunteer fundraiser, artist and teacher at a rural Ecuadorian school. I am the founder of the Cuenca International Writers Conference, currently going into its third year, and the Cuenca Writers Collective, which supports writers through writers groups, writing retreats and reading performances. I go on fun adventures with the Traveling Thrillburys! I am a passionate lover of all kinds of animals, and I am quite fond of my husband, Robert. After years en hiatus, MY BLOG IS BACK! I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for restarting your blog. Will you be writing about you time in The Corridor?
Probably. I am trying to work on the third of my mystery series set there…
