Description

Callie’s directing the Christmas pageant at an inner-city missionary church, volunteering at the law clinic and collecting clothes for unwed teen-age mothers, all the while trying to shed a few pounds at the local recreation center!  That’s where she meets hapless Marlena Jessup. As busy as she is, Callie’s heart won’t let her stand by and watch as Marlena’s young family implodes. She steps in to help, inadvertently trespassing into territory controlled by an evil she never believed existed.  But Callie’s not alone.  The colorful characters that inhabit her world are there to help her set what is wrong, right.
